ایشون جناب پروفسور فرهاد رشیدی حائری
استاد ایرانی الاصل دانشگاه پلی تکنیک لوزان سوئیس هستند ( EPFL ) که برنده مدال بلوندل فرانسه شده اند.

این مدال هر ساله از طرف انجمن برق و الکترونیک، تکنولوژی اطلاعات و مخابرات کشور فرانسه به افراد شاخص در این زمینه ها اهدا می گردد.

پروفسور فرهاد رشیدی این مدال را به خاطر تحقیقاتشان در زمینه خواص الکترو مغناطیسی رعد و برق و ارائه مدلهای برای دشارژ نمودن ابرهای باردار دریافت کرده اند.مدلهای ارائه شده توسط ایشان با استقبال جامعه علمی مواجه گردیده است و موارد استفاده بسیار زیادی دارد و گویا در حال حاظر نیز استفاده آن شروع شده است.

برای اینکه به اهمیت این مدال و کلا بازتاب جهانی بردن مدال بلوندل پی ببرید می شد این مطلب مهم را نیز ضمیمه نمود که یکی از برندگان پیشین این مدال پروفسور ایوز روکارد ( Yves Rocard ) می باشند که برنده نوبل فیزیک در سال 1970 نیز هستند.!!

پروفسور فرهاد رشیدی حائری در سال 2005 نیز جایزه دستاوردهای تکنیکی ( IEEE ) را نیز دریافت کرده ان
